No, I don’t have anything like that. I think you need to have a starter to make kefir, but the buttermilk; I just haven’t experimented with it. I’ll put it on my to-do list, but in the mean time, try pinterest 😉

My baba used to make this cool drink in the summertime with plums and apricots, with a few other berries. I am wondering if you have something for that. I can’t remember the name, but it was sooooo good and I miss it (and her!) so much. Thanks

Here is a lovely hot apple cider recipe that we make every year. You need 1 gallon of apple cider NOT from concentrate, 1 can of minutemaid frozen orange juice, 2 or 3 quarts of water ( to taste, some folks.like heavier juice than others) , 2 sticks of cinnamon ( or about 1 tsp ground cinnamon, but the sticks are better), a pinch of ground cloves, 1/2 tsp fresh ground nutmeg, & a dash of cardamom if you have it. Put everything into a lg stainless pot, simmering till you just can’t stand it any longer, & the whole house is filled with the delightful scent~ better yet, put it on while the kids are out playing in the cold air, & while its simmering, mix up a batch of homemade donuts ~ I guarantee it will be a food memory never forgotten! ;~D

🙂 I love your timeframe; “simmering till you just can’t stand it any longer…” perfect!! That sounds so good. Natural aromatherapy!
