About
Hi there! My name is Natasha Kravchuk. My handsome husband, Vadim, and I started Natasha’s Kitchen in 2009 and develop recipes and recipe videos together full-time. In 2023, we published our debut cookbook – Natasha’s Kitchen Cookbook, which quickly became a New York Times Best-Selling Book (on the list for 3 weeks in a row!).
I come from a family of fantastic cooks and I’m here to share generations of recipes that are homey, fresh, healthy, family-friendly, authentic, and adventurous. Most importantly, our recipes taste great and you can trust that they actually work.
My Family:
My parents came to the U.S. as refugees from Ukraine when I was 4 years old. They brought 5 tiny girls and had nothing but a stack of suitcases. They didn’t know the language, but worked hard and achieved the American dream. Watch the TV News Segment about our incredible story.
Growing up, I used to be so shy I thought no one would marry me until my husband came along and swept me off my feet (true story). I married my wonderful husband Vadim (who is also Ukrainian) over 16 years ago. We are blessed with two children. Every recipe that I develop is thoroughly tested and approved by each of us and is often critiqued by relatives and friends. We only post the recipes we love and make over and over.
We live in Idaho, “Ida-who?” Potatoes, people, potatoes! Our family attends Life Church Boise. We strive to walk in love and live our lives by the word of God and the life of Jesus.
My Background:
We’re so thankful to be full-time foodies and recipe developers. We’re living our dream because of you and I can’t thank you enough! I draw on all of my past experiences which make me the recipe developer, video creator, photographer, writer, and business owner that I am today. We set the bar high so you can expect great recipes and videos here. God has made all of my past experiences work for my good.
The ‘Resume’:
- Starting as a teen, I worked for 7 years as a business intern (my most valuable ‘education’).
- Earned my bachelor’s degree in business (long story)
- Worked as a Realtor for 4 years during which I had an early mid-life crisis and cried a lot (let’s just say it wasn’t for me).
- Earned a second bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked as an RN in telemetry (shorter story, but still long).
- Blogging since 2009
So, I’m a wife, mom, food blogger, video creator, photographer, writer, influencer, social media boss, entrepreneur, and worship leader. If I were a sandwich, I’d be a chicken bacon avocado on focaccia.
About Natasha’s Kitchen:
I started this food and family blog in 2009 as a way to share favorite recipes and events with family and friends. It has grown much larger than I could have imagined with about 1,200 recipes and about 19 Million hungry visitors per month. In 2023, we passed 3,000,000 subscribers on YouTube and our channel is growing fast.
My goal with Natasha’s Kitchen is for you to really discover and fall in love with cooking and find many new favorite recipes your family will love. The ingredients we use are simple and easily accessible; not overly hoity-toity. My motto: if you can read (a well-written, tested, and trusted recipe), you can cook.
This is a personal website and all of the recipes are tested and approved by my family. All of the photography is done by myself and I’m the one showing up in our videos. My husband edits the photos and videos (and he’s the videographer single-handedly running 3 cameras at once).
Most of the recipes I share come from my mom and mother-in-law, family, friends, and my own experience in the kitchen. I am so thankful to have such amazing people in my life who generously share their rich knowledge of cooking.
How I got Started Cooking:
To be completely honest, I wasn’t always excited about cooking. When I got married in 2003, it became a necessity – “must eat to live” and Mom wasn’t doing the cooking anymore. We had a lot of frozen meals and ate out too much in the first year of our marriage. I had a free summer (and decided I would improve my cooking skills so we could live and eat healthier.
I dove into cookbook after cookbook and plundered my mom’s recipe books. I was at the library all the time bringing home piles of cookbooks; I was hooked! I even read my mother’s cooking textbook from her college days (Mom completed her culinary program when we moved to the US). I had discovered the joy of cooking. Within a few months, my husband and I each lost weight just from cooking more at home. Now I can’t stop cooking and thinking about cooking and dreaming about cooking… I was born for this!
My recipe collection continues to grow. I love to try new recipes and will share my favorites with you. I hope you enjoy this blog and find recipes that will become your family favorites as well.

Natasha, I like the new “vibe” for your videos. You are a goof ball in the kitchen and I mean that as a compliment. LOL Funny & silly girl! Love the easy & yummie recipes! Keep it going.
Thank you for that wonderful compliment!
I made your carrot cake, absolutely delish. Received many compliments. Thanks so much. My son wants me to make again, he’s 52…lol

You’re so nice! Thank you, Diane!
Good evening. I saw your blueberry lemon cake recipe and has eggs. Can I use only eggs yolks? My nephew is allergic to eggs whites.
Hi Denise, I honestly haven’t tested that to advise. If you an experiment, we’d like to hear about it.
I’m looking for a Ukrainian paska recipe that does not require a lot of eggs. The most is 3-4 I like.
Hi Helen. I only have this Paska Easter Bread recipe.
I found your website because i was looking for a eclair recipe and i started to look around on your website and i was blown away. I kept looking and looking and got so excited to try all these new recipes. Keep doing great work!!!!
Hi Jessica! Thanks so much. I appreciate the encouragement. I hope you find many recipes here that you’ll love! 🙂

Dear Natasha,
I love you inside out I am an elderly lady who’s been cooking all my life and when I see you and your recipes I am glued to the tube and try practically all your recipes … You give me the will to keep on cooking, baking and have put all my recipe books away that I have been collecting since 16 years old … Keep up the good work and may you be bless always …
Thank you so much, Suzanne!
My daughter is in kindergarten and several nights a week we watch one of your videos before bed. You are her favorite! She loves the dessert videos the most but I’m trying to get her to branch out. Thank you so much!
That’s so sweet! Thank you for sharing that with me.
just made the Chocolate Chip cookies … after I was done making them I noticed your resume/bio…we have the same last name! Crazy right!
Oh that’s awesome!! Nice to meet you and I hope you loved the cookies.
Natasha, your recipes are absolutely amazing! They are easy to follow and always result in a delicious product.
One of my favorite meals is Sea Bass with Miso glaze. It’s usually quite pricey, but I think it’s really about the glaze for me. I think it would be wonderful on a more budget friendly piece of fish.
DO YOU HAVE A RECIPE FOR MISO GLAZE that you could post? It would be most appreciated.
Hi Catherine, Thank you so much for sharing that with me! I don’t have a miso glaze recipe at this time. But I’ll add it to my list! Thank you for that suggestion.
So you don’t run out of recipes. I am asking for you to come up with a Great SMASHED TACO one for me a old single guy. HA HA HA I can’t wait
Hello Natasha, I have emailed the screenshot yesterday of the listing on Amazon. Hoping you have received it.
Hi Katherine, thank you. I sent a reply too.
Hello Natasha My last comment should read I am unable to find the listing on Amazon now. It must have been removed. I have a screenshot of the listing not sure how to email it to you as I don’t have an email address for you.
Hi Katherine! Did you try using my direct amazon pre-ordering link that I provided in my blog post HERE? I just checked the link and it is working on my end. I am not sure where you live but you could try using the other links for pre-ordering as well if you cannot find it on amazon in your location.
Natasha, I was reading your recipe and comments for Hot Cross Buns. Did you just have a new baby??? Or was this comment written when your little girl was a new baby? Love watching your videos and as a very seasoned and good cook I learn so many things from you. That is the fun and beauty of cooking — there’s always more to learn and discover — and enjoy! I loved seeing the dog themed birthday party decorations and food spread for your daughter’s birthday. DID SHE GET HER PUPPY???
Hi Sue! Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback. I’m so glad that my recipes are helpful. No, I did not have another baby and no puppy quite yet. 🙂
Hello Natasha, I love your recipes. I have been on Amazon to pre order your book. I am not sure if you are aware Nats Cookbook by Eddie J Shepard selling for $44.12 on Amazon.com.au I use my Amazon app. The person has used your cookbook cover. It appears to look not quite right. I thought it strange as your cookbook will be released in October. Hoping you will be able to find this person claiming to have your cookbook and selling in paperback format on Amazon.
Hi Katherine, that is definitely not right if someone is doing that. Can you provide a link or a screenshot? I’m not able to find that listing. Hopefully, it was already taken down.
Hello Natasha, I have a screenshot. How do I send it to you? I have tried finding it again but unable. The author also had some other books, they have also been removed. Thank goodness this person was made to take down all of his books.
Katherine
Thank you, Katherine. Could you send me an email, please? Our email address is here in our Contact Form.
Hello, Thank you for your blog and posts. The recipes sound amazing. My family is also from a part Ukrainian on my father’s side, who emigrated to the US at the turn of the century. My father a first-generation American.
I tried your recipe for buckwheat (Kasha). I followed the recipe exactly. Unfortunately, it did not work. The buckwheat was pasty and lumpy. I even tried setting it out to cool, and covered, overnight, and it did not really get any easier to flake into grains. What would you suggest?
We are celebrating Purim this weekend and I so want to have a nice kasha dish along with our meal.
Thank you in advance. And again, I love the recipe in your portfolio and hope to try another one soon.
Hi Alexa, Thank you so much for sharing that with me! I assume you’re referring to my How to Cook Buckwheat Kasha recipe? (I have a few buckwheat recipes on the blog). It’s important to use toasted buckwheat groats to start. If your buckwheat was not toasted, that may be the culprit.
Thanks for working so hard at pulling the recipes together. As a 35 year RN, I just don’t have the energy when I get home to scatter and search. I turn to your recipes with confidence they will be great.
Thank you so much for sharing that with me, Debbie! I’m so glad you’re enjoying my recipes.
I LOVE YOUR RECIPES. I love your video presentations. I have and still cook your recipes. They are awesome. So proud of you.
You’re so kind! Thank you, Linda, for your thoughtful comment!
Natasha, you are my go to for a dependably good recipe. Don’t think I’ve tried a single one that great. Some day when I get my late mother’s recipes digitized, I may send you a few.
That sounds great! Thanks so much for your trust and support. I appreciate it.
Hi Natasha, love your recipes. Thank you FB for find you.
If I have cake flour instead of all purpose flour, what adjustments do I need to make. I Googled it but my cake didn’t seem to turn out fluffy.
Thank you,
Jona
Hi Jona! I’m glad you found my channel. I have not tested cake flour in my cakes so I don’t know what the results would be like or how to best advise using it.
Natasha, your recipes are pretty much the only ones I use to cook for me and my husband and my dogs who wait impatiently to eat any leftovers. Your recipes are always delicious and my husband brags on how I am an excellent cook. I never really liked cooking but I’m liking it more and more with your delicious recipes. Thank you for what you do!
I’m so happy you love our recipes! Thank you so much for the fantastic review and your encouraging words. I am smiling big reading your comment
Hi Natasha. I’ve been a huge fan of your vlogging channel pretty much from when you first started. It truly has given me the courage to make new recipes for my family to try. I recently made (and tagged you) your loaded baked potato soup and my family LOVE IT!! True comfort food!!! I’m curious about your mascot “Sharky” and how it came about into your videos, and the story behind it. It’s fun watching and trying to see where you sneek it in. Sometimes I have to watch a couple of times to catch it lol. Congratulations also for your Top Ranking Cookbook. Well earned for sure!!! Going to go now and scroll for more yummy recipes to make 🙂
Hi Carolyn! Thank you for all the love and support. It means so much to me!
Hello Natasca and Vadim, Kak dela? My name is Enoch, my wife Diane (french Canadia) we have 3 sons Isaac, Reuben, and Samuel who is also worship leader in out church “Southsihe church in Chilliwack BC, following the steps of Jesus. I came from Slovakia, where my dad was pricher (persecuted by communists) and I love Idaho potatoes. We are watching your recepies longer time, and my favorit are the Crapes in mixer, you know, Delicious. So when the chickens ley more eggs, ges what is for breakfest? God bless you, all family. Paka.
Thank you so much for sharing that with me, Enoch! Your family sounds wonderful and blessed!
I love your life story and firm faith. I also love your recipes and videos, and your whole persona! Happy to be on board.
You’re so nice! Thank you!
Pertaining to the Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla Recipe, one pic shows meat on only 1/2 of the tortilla. Step 4 insinuates that you spread the meat mixture on the whole tortilla. But then it says to “close the tortilla”. That suggests that you fold 1/2 the tortilla over the other half. And that confirms the meat mixture is on only 1/2 of tortilla. But then I see pics of what looks like the meat is spread on the whole tortilla and topped with another tortilla. In the article it describes using a pizza cutter. And that suggests that you put the meat on the whole tortilla. It also states to use a pan the size of the tortilla. So, which is it? Spread the meat on the whole tortilla and top with another tortilla? Then cut in two or more? Or put the meat on only 1/2 and fold the tortilla over the other 1/2? I think the answer will be “whatever your preference is”. But which is easier to deal work with?
Hi Debbie! I’m sorry for the confusion. The image that I included in the blog post under the notes on “How to Make Philly Cheesesteak Quesadillas” shows the method I used. The meat and cheese are on half of the tortilla and then it is folded over. I then put them in the pan to crisp up the tortilla and use a pizza cutter to cut them into triangular shapes like in the images. I hope that helps.
Thank you for your reply. I’m going try them !!! :))
Thank you for all your wonderful recipes. I have made several of them. Breakfast and dinner recipes. You also have a wonderful presentation and makes me excited to watch the entire presentaion. I have been researching cookware and wonder what brand name cookware/pans do you recommend?
Thank you for your kind words and good feedback, Diane. You can find the kitchen tools that I always use here on my Amazon Affiliate Shop.
I purchased the Cosori air fryer you recommended. There is a recall for them due to a fire hazard. Please let your followers know. I follow you on Facebook.
Love your recipes and all you do!
Thank you for letting me know, Susan. I also got a notification from Amazon which is where I purchased mine as well. I just got back from vacation and will investigate this more. Thanks, again!

Hi Natasha,
I found you way back in 2020 and Love watching your cooking video’s. You have become my go to place to find great recipes and because I know they are so well tried and tested, I keep coming back for more. Your cake recipes are a number one hit for me, which I used to make client orders. I am hospitality trained and a 30 year veteran in hospitality, but love looking through you recipes to find interesting and new things to cook and bake.
All the way from Johannesburg, South Africa, keep on inspiring us all.
Much love and respect,
Bridget
I’m so happy you love our recipes! Thank you so much for the fantastic review and your encouraging words. I am smiling big reading your comment, Bridget!
Dear Natasha
I absolutely love your recepies and look forward each day checking my inbox for your delicious surprises.
Thank you so very much for who you are…..a wonderful human being .
You are so kind, Gina! Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I appreciate the love and support.
Thank you so much for creating these recipes and showing the step by step process of how to do it. I cook a lot but I am not the greatest. So I just wanted to say Thank you! Your recipes are easy to follow and even more importantly…delicious!
Hi Nancy! You’re very welcome. I’m so glad you love my recipes. I appreciate the feedback.
Help! On low carb diet but none of your recipes include nutritional breakdown ie calories/carbs/etc. It would take me lots of time to go thru each recipe & compute the carbs in each ingredient. Please include so others such as myself can join!!
Hi Dona, we are slowly working through all of our recipes to add nutrition info, but it is a time-consuming process as they have to be added one at a time. Thank you for being patient! I will add most of our recipes cards have the nutritional information.
I enjoy your using your recipes. Do you have a recipe for white borscht?
I’m so glad you’re enjoying my recipes, Pat! I do not have a white borscht recipe at this time.
I have been watching your videos and thouroughly enjoy them. Very entertaining and informative. Wish I could also use my fist to chop an onion!!
I have lived in Idaho all my life, so glad you found your way to our neck of the woods!
LOL! Thanks for always watching my videos and I hope you’ll love all the recipes that you will try. Yes. we love it here!
Hi Natasha. I stumbled onto your site by typing in salmon and asparagus. Tonight I made your One Pan Salmon and Aspraragus with Garlic Herb Butter. Super yummy and delicious! My wonderful husband and I loved it. I enjoyed reading all about you and your family as My Wonderful and I lived in Ukraine for 8 years as missionaries. When I told him about your site he told me that he was familiar with your site and has used quite a few of your recipes. We both love to cook. I am so looking forward to trying many of your recipes! May God contiune to bless you, your family, and all that you put your hand to do.
I’m so happy you both love our recipes! Thank you so much for the fantastic review and your encouraging words Teresa. I am smiling big reading your comment
When does the cookbook come out? My grown daughters and I get a new cookbook every year at Christmas and once a week someone picks a recipe and we all make it that week! It’s so fun and YOUR cookbook is next on my list!
Hi Amy! That’s amazing, it sounds like a great tradition! My cookbook is due to come out in the Fall of 2023! Stay tuned for more announcements on that!
Hi Natasha
How will I be able to get this cookbook? I am dying for it!
Hi Caitlyn. If you have not already done so, you can click on “subscribe” at the top of the page. This is where you will get all of our updates. Stay tuned for more information soon.
Hey there ! Love your site! One thing though, at the bottom right hand corner of the page is a little video box where you make recipes. It’s partly hidden under the bottom ad banner. So all we can click on is pause, impossible to click on the arrows to expand the video. Would be great to be able to fully view your recipe videos. FYI Thanks!
Hi Sophie, glad you’re enjoying my website, and thanks for the feedback. Would you be able to send me an email me a screenshot of that, the details is in my contact form.
Hi Natasha,
Everytime I have leftovers I say “let’s see what Natasha makes with this. I love your recipes as they are simple and I usually have the ingredients handy.
Hi Margie! I love that. Thanks so much for all your love and support.
Hi Natasha. Is US granulated sugar the same as UK equivalent?
Or is it more like caster sugar that would be used in cake making?
Walnut recipe just what I’m looking for. Thanks
Hi Debby! Yes, similar to caster sugar. The only difference between caster sugar and granulated sugar is their texture. Caster sugar has more finely ground crystals than granulated sugar.
I have been watching your YouTube for a long time my favorite. Love your recipes and so happy you have a cookbook on Amazon can’t wait to get it
Hi Brigs! Thank you for the love and support. My first cookbook will be releasing Fall 2023! We’re excited. 🙂
Holy cow! I have been following you for 2 years now and just learned you are nearby! (Top Golf pic showed me)! We are in Eagle! How fun to live so close!!!!❤️
That’s awesome, Kim! It’s so exciting to see locals in my feed!
I have a binder with Natasha’s logo on the front – of course titled Natash’s Fabulous Recipes. Every single recipe I have tried (and that is alot) has been perfect. I just love the videos – Natasha you are a doll and I look forward to all of your recipes. My favourite is Chicken Madiera and Strawberry Cheesecake but then again, it is hard to say any of them are my favourite as they all are. Question. Have a friend that wants me to make the tomato soup but can’t have any onions. Not sure if allergic or just doesn’t like the texture – any idea what it would taste like without the onions? If allergic, would onion powder not be ok?
Hi Cyndi, that sounds wonderful. Thank you for loving our recipes! I think she can remove the onions and it will still be fine, or how about using onion powder instead?
I keep a Natasha recipes folder in my computer. Just love your videos and blog. Hopefully one day there will be a Natasha cookbook! So I don’t confuse the bisquits for plum pie on the chicken pot pie! Still delicious!
Hi Carole! I’m so glad you love my recipes. Thank you so much for your love and support. My first cookbook will be released soon, in October 2023. Be sure to click on “subscribe” at the top of the page to stay up to date and get our newsletter.
Can’t wait to offer the sweet potato salad to girlfriends lunch tomorrow….and to taste it!! It looks yummy! Thanks! Linda
Hi Linda!I hope it’s a hit. I would love to hear how they like it if you want to come back and leave a review on the recipe. 🙂
Love your channel and your style! I was surprised a day or two ago watching youtube by an ad for a frozen chicken pot pie (Callanwolde?) that was a total rip off of Natasha!!! The voice, quirks, everything! It was especially insulting since I’ve made Natasha’s chicken pot pie and it’s NOTHING like these cheap factory pot pies!
Hi Tom, I appreciate your support and thank you for watching! As I always say, they can only copy what we’ve done, but they don’t know what we’re going to do next. 😉
Baked Chicken Legs (with Best Marinade).
Q. I’m substituting Drumsticks with (2) Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts. So, I shouldn’t have to turn the breasts over when baking, right? Like the Drumstick recipe
HI Scott, here is a good tutorial on how to bake chicken breasts.
I love your vibe and your recipes are good too! Easy to follow and prepare, not only looks good in the pictures but tastes good. I would like to see, if it’s possible now and then recipes for a few people. There are only two of us in the household. Cutting a recipe in half doesn’t work out more thimes than not. Thank You
You’re so nice! Thank you for that compliment, Beverly! I recommend clicking “Jump to recipe” at the top of the post, it will take you to our printable recipe where you’ll have the option to change the number of servings. Hover over the number of servings highlighted in red and slide it to how many servings you would like to make. I hope that helps!
Do you have all your recipes on recipe cards that you sell? We have tried so many and all are simply delicious!
Hi Starr! No, I do not have recipe cards but you can print my recipes from the recipe card on the blog. There is a print option in the right upper hand corner. My first cookbook will be released in October 2023, with some of these older and many new recipes. Be sure to click on the subscribe option at the top of this page to get the notification and updates about the release. 🙂
Natasha, love your recipes but I want to give you feedback on your webpage you have so many adds that my iPad with them best cpu can not keep up it is so hate to read your page. You need to fix
Hi Greg, Thank you for sharing your concerns and feedback. The only way we can continue providing free recipes is by having ads on our site, so we are not able to remove those at this time. We find that most people would rather see the ads than pay to see the recipes. But we will definitely take note of your feedback and use it to improve our website.
I appreciate your feedback, and I hope you love every recipe you try.
I want to make the shrimp tea sandwiches for our daughter’s bridal shower. How many sandwiches does your recipe make? Thank you!
Hi Robin, it makes 21 canapes. You can find it also in the recipe card of the recipe.
The onion rings look amazing and am eager to try. But please be aware that while cooking in that video your hand was in your hair at least three times. As a nurse you would understand why that is bothersome. Won’t keep me from trying your recipes tho!!!
Thanks for the reminder, Sharon. I cook for my family most of the time and not for the public so it’s really fine and they don’t mind at all of course. 🙂
Natasha,
I made your meatloaf tonight. It was the BEST meatloaf I ever made. Stan loved it. I actually made 2 and froze one uncooked per your directions.
Thanks so much for the recipe.
You’re so very welcome. Miriam! I’m glad you loved the recipe. Thank you for sharing.
I just LOVE your recipes!! There isn’t one I haven’t had turn out perfectly. You are adorable and are so grounded with your family – a true role model!!! Thanks for enhancing my life as well as all of those who subscribe to your web page. You make cooking fun again!!
Aww, thanks so much for the kind words, Chery. It means so much to me that you would try my recipes. I appreciate and love and support.
Hello Natasha. I began learning Ukrainian with a native speaker in Canada. She teaches using video lessons; my preference right now is zoom. After only two lessons, I can begin to read names and words, even pronounce the words…with effort 😉 Thanks for being part of that inspiration.
Larry Caracciolo
That’s wonderful, Larry! Keep up the great work.
Just wanted to say we love your recipes and my Husband loves the sloppy JOE’s recipe
Thank you! So glad to hear that.
Hi Natasha, I am the cook at home, my wife cooks great but due to her hectic schedule I am the one that works the kitchen, I’ve found my taste and cook preferences very similar to yours. Anyway, thank you for the many ideas and wisdom. You are a joy to watch. Congrats!!
Hi Israel! Thank you for sharing that with me. I’m so glad you find my recipes helpful.
I knew the Lord had led me to your blog. May he bless you and your family abundantly. Love your recipes and your bubbly personality. What a touching and inspiring life journey. I too, find joy in cooking for my family. Nothing like being right where you belong and for me that is in the kitchen.
Thank you for the kind words, Andrea! I appreciate the love and support. Be blessed!
Hi Natasha: I have used your recipes in the past, and now I have a special request. Two lovely immigrating Ukranians (very lucky to be able to come to the USA) will be here in February. They can hardly wait to have hamburgers and hot dogs. HOWEVER, I would love to make some authentic Ukranian dishes for them. Can you suggest a few for me to try, with the recipe of course. :-} Thank you so much.
Hi Debby! Yes, I have plenty to choose from on my site, here is my russian-ukrainian recipe archive. The pork schnitzel, Beef Stroganoff, Beef Plov, Borscht, Cabbage Rolls, and Pierogi’s are great choices!
Thank you for your recipes! I really enjoy the recipes that I’ve tried; they’re delicious, fresh, and very do-able, which is very important. And to know you are also a Christian is an extra bonus. 🙂 Hope you keep enjoying what you do and thank you for this page, it is really amazing!
Thank you and I’ll always do my best. I appreciate your great review and feedback!
Happy New Year!
Thank you for your recipes. I will definitely use your recipes in my life. I like cooking.
Thank you 🙏
Happy New Year, Andrey! Thank you for your trust and support!
Happy New Year! Starting out the new year right and made homemade meatballs and bbq sauce. One of my goals is to eat healthier and cook the majority of my meals at home. Thank you for the recipes and inspiration!
You’re very welcome, Laura! Happy New Year and wishing you much success!
Hey Natasha. I’ve been following and enjoying your recipes for quiet some time. I do have a question. On Facebook your name appears on some recipes. When you click on the cover picture it comes up “Jonathan Alfonso”. Is this your site or not. Thank you.
Hi Susan, my site will have my name and photo as the author and page owner. If there is a party that is impersonating me, please report them. Thank you kindly.
I always make sure to look for the check after your name, that way I know it’s really you!
Natasha,
When will we find out more about your cookbook?
Is it like “The Complete America’s Test Kitchen Cookbook, 2001-2023”.
Everyone loves you including me. <3
Hi Dan! The book is due to launch Fall of 2023! Stay tuned!
Hi Natasha, and warm Christmas greetings from the UK! I was just cruising around on line for some meatball/sauce recipes and came across your site. You’re so nice! Thank you for that wonderful compliment, Roseann! Blessings to you! <3
Greetings from Western NJ! We LOVE your recipes. Lasagna Rolls have become my son’s new favorite. I’ve made several recipes from your channel and they are SO good and easy to follow! Thank you for the delicious recipes and we are anxiously waiting for your cookbook.
Thank you so much, Maryann! I’m glad you loved my recipes. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I started following you, because I also have a Ukrainian background, and, I was looking for familiar recipes that reminded me of the wonderful food I grew up with. You have given me that food. The recipes, either ethnic or family based are so good and so easy. They are always a hit at dinner. Desserts too. Thank you Natasha and family for making our mealtimes memorable and delicious.
Hi Maxene! Thank you for trying my recipes. I’m so glad your family is loving them.
I followed your choc-chip cookie recipe carefully but mine turned out different than yours. Mine did not melt and flattened; they remained in their original shape formed by my ice cream scoop. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Taste is good. Any advice about what I’m doing wrong?
Hi Jim! It sounds like it could have been too much flour. See my notes in the blog about why the cookies don’t flatten. Also, watch my tutorial here on how to measure flour correctly.
Greetings from Beulaville NC!
We’ve been fans for several years. Today I broke out your Instant Pot White Chicken Chili recipe after a day of standing in the cold at a parade. Simple to make, but big on flavor, and my wife and son will eat until they are stuffed! I share a link to your recipe to everybody who inquires.
Hi Sean! I’m so glad you and your wife loved the recipe! Thank you for the love and support!
We just finished baking and eating your delicious prime rib. It was the best we have ever eaten or fixed. We followed your recipe exactly. Our roast was 2.64 pounds so after the initial 15 minutes at 500 degrees, it did take longer than what you recommended. Good thing we used a probe for 140 degrees. Thanks.
HI Karen, I’m glad you had a probe. Not all ovens are the same and some don’t preheat adequately (I found out mine is one of those after getting an in-oven thermometer) and it definitely helps also.
I went to Pinterest to get your recipe for the best juicy prime rib roast. I can’t find it anywhere. Please advise me. Thanks.
Hi Jeff! I have all my recipes here, on my website. Is this the Prime Rib recipe you are looking for? Also, you can view my recipes by ingredients HERE. 🙂
Thank you for being you! I was looking for a moist oatmeal raisin cookie (my mom made them at Christmas, I miss her.) I wanted to make some, but couldn’t find her recipe. I think this will be great! Love your recipes! God has richly blessed you with cooking! Thank you!
Hi Nancy! I’m so glad you love my recipes. Thank you for your love and support. God bless.

Hi Jan! Thank you for letting me know. These are fraudulent accounts created impersonating me. We have reported several of them to Facebook but some of them are still up. I would love it if you would also report the accounts to Facebook when you see them!
